Sergey Druzyak
Hi, my name is Sergey Druzyak!
I was born in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia not such a long time ago. Maybe that’s why I’m always so quick, energetic, and ready for a new adventure! I spent my childhood in the beautiful cities of Yalta and Kaliningrad, where my imagination was constantly at work.
My love for theatre began at school, in a small drama club. What started as a hobby soon became my passion, so I even graduated from the Yaroslavl Theatre Institute. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of performing in many theatres, including the ROST Theatre, where I work now.
You may also know me from the screen. Some of my most memorable roles include Danzas in 1814 and Gennady Varnava in Kremlin Cadets. Younger audiences might recognize me as Kalyaka-Malyaka from the children's TV show Let's Draw!. One fun fact is that I can’t really draw at all! 😀
My adventures don’t stop there. I’ve hosted animal shows, shared countless fairy tales with my daughter Lyuba, written poetry, and performed as a singer in my band Via Paranoliki. Curiosity has always been my driving force, so I even stepped behind the camera and directed my OWN short film.
When I’m not on stage, on screen, or working on a new creative project, I enjoy the most important role of all: being a husband to my wonderful wife Katya and a proud father of two: Lyuba and Lyonya.
Life is full of stories, and I’m always excited to discover the next one.
